The setting of The One My Soul Loves was inspired by exploring the dusty paths of Galilee and the ancient foundations of Jerusalem in my travels with local guides. I also had the immersive experience of stepping onto the first-century Temple set as a background actor on The Chosen. These experiences gave me a glimpse into the time period and culture which helped me to make Rachel’s world feel more authentic.
